The African Continuous Improvement Journal (ACIJ) follows a comprehensive archiving policy to ensure the long-term preservation, accessibility and availability of its published scholarly content. The journal recognises that published research forms part of the permanent scholarly record and must remain accessible to authors, readers, researchers, institutions and the wider academic community.ACIJ is published online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. All published articles, issues, abstracts, metadata, references and related publication records are stored within the OJS platform to provide centralised access to the journal’s content. To support long-term digital preservation, ACIJ preserves its published content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

ACIJ strongly encourages authors to self-archive their published work to increase visibility, accessibility and scholarly impact. Authors are permitted to deposit their published articles immediately after publication in institutional repositories, personal websites, departmental or organisational repositories and academic networking platforms such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu.Authors may also share copies of their published articles with colleagues, students, research collaborators and professional networks without restriction, provided that the correct citation and link to the original publication in ACIJ are included.When self-archiving or sharing their work, authors must acknowledge the African Continuous Improvement Journal as the original place of publication and include the article title, author names, journal name, volume, issue, year of publication, DOI or permanent link where available.
